What should I expect during a clear aligner treatment?
- You will get a detailed overview of what to expect for your specific case during your first consultation.
- If you do decide to proceed with treatment, our team will use an intraoral scanner and produce a 3D image of your teeth. These images are what the lab will use to create your custom-fitted aligners.
- When your aligners are ready (after a few weeks), you will come back to our office to receive them. Most patients get all their aligner sets at once.
- Your doctor will let you know how long you have to wear each aligner (usually 2 weeks). We will schedule check-ups so we can monitor your teeth and make sure they are moving properly.
- After all the aligners have been worn our team will evaluate if further refinement is needed. If there is, you may be given a few more aligners so you can achieve your dream smile.
